The call for applications is open to Hungarian authors and literary professionals who have been invited to participate in a prestigious event, book launch or festival abroad (hereinafter collectively referred to as the Event).

We can only accept applications from individuals over the age of 18, so we cannot consider applications from companies or other legal entities.

The successful applicant will undertake to promote Hungarian literature and the activities at a specific literary event. The applicant also undertakes to prepare a professional and financial report after the Event, accompanied by photographs, and to submit it to the Petőfi Cultural Agency within 15 calendar days of the Event.

The deadline for applications is continuous. You may make up any deficiencies up to the deadline specified in the notice of vacancy.

The closing date for applications is the 30th (thirtieth) calendar day before the date of the Event.

Applications will be assessed once a month (no later than the 10th of the month, or the first working day after a public holiday) and the results will be published on petofi.hu within two weeks of the decision.

The applications will be evaluated and a proposal for a decision will be drawn up by a professional committee, this decision is to be confirmed by the Director of the Petőfi Cultural Agency.

The selected candidates will be awarded a contract of engagement by PKÜ.
