ChildLit 2025

The Petőfi Cultural Agency's new English-language selection presents the best children's and young adult books of the past year, inviting readers on an adventure of imagination. Its aim is to promote outstanding works of Hungarian children's publishing to foreign publishers and, in the long run, make Hungarian children's literature internationally recognized and accessible to families worldwide.

Fiction 2025

The professional committee of literary critics entrusted by the Petőfi Cultural Agency has selected 12 outstanding works from Hungarian literary fiction published in 2024, for our latest Bes of Fiction catalogue. Alongside well-established authors, young debutants also feature in the selection, providing a wide overview of last year’s literary production.
